Who we are and what we do...

     Our Lady of the Desert School is a non-profit private school (K-12) certified by the Morongo Unified School District. Most importantly, we are formed by the ancient traditions of the Catholic Church. Thus, we offer a complete array of academic subjects that are permeated by the Faith. The result is a well-rounded education that is firmly grounded in the complementary relationship between faith and reason.

     Our Lady of the Desert School is literally an oasis of Catholic education since we exist in a location that is void of diocesan schools. We feel privileged and honored to complete what is lacking in the Body of Christ (Col 1:24). So it is that Our Lady of the Desert School is entirely loyal to the perenennial and living Magisterium of the Holy Catholic Church.

     Please note that non-Catholic students and military families from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twenty-nine Palms are welcome to attend. We encourage every student to participate in all school activities.
